Grand Haven

We ventured about 20 minutes north on Sunday to Grand Haven. While there we walked the boardwalk, caught the BEAUTIFUL sunset on the beach and watched the Musical Fountains. The musical fountains is a light show set to music with fountains, it was really neat! So glad we got to spend the evening as a family!

Pitiful

Looking at this face makes me laugh. Logan had his kindergarten boosters and a few other vaccinations we missed with our move last year. So, four shots later this is what he did when I asked if I could take a picture of his arms. So dramatic :)

Sometimes I never want to leave

With a possible relocation to Wisconsin in our future, sometimes its sad to think about leaving here. We have grown to love many things about Michigan, and the summertime is so awesome here part of me hopes we get to stay ;)
We spent an evening in the fountains downtown tonight, and Logan had a blast. (but I think you can tell from the photos ;)

Beachin' It

We purchased our park sticker and were able to enjoy four days at the lake last week. The water in MI is so much warmer, and I couldn't believe how crowded the lake got!!! Here are a few shots :)

Tulipfest Part One----the portraits

Next weekend is the beginning of Tulipfest here in Holland. We decided to take advantage of the fact that the rainclouds were not pouring rain like they had threatened, and headed to a local park to get some snapshots.
I ts things like this that will really make Holland hard to leave. It is beautiful here this time of year especially, and I normally really dislike spring. We can't wait to go to the actual festival and get some pictures of all that fun stuff. For now, here are a few glimpses of what it really looks like here.
