Stick People

I remember being ecstactic when he colored me a picture and it resembled a pile of sticks on the ground. Then I was even more excited when he started using colors other than brown or black. Now he has officially moved on to drawing PEOPLE! I can't believe it. Stick people they may be, but he is drawing something that I can actually identify and using bright, vibrant colors while doing so. I love it.
(also notice the "rainbow" and the "elephant") awesome.

These beauties definitely earned a spot in the kitchen :)

Some things just don't change

I believe it was a year ago that I posted the first time explaining Logan's "puzzle love"
A full twelve months later he is still a puzzle maniac, and this is his #1 go to choice. Now if only it wasn't twelve feet long ;)

Chit-Chat

Logan isn't a big phone talker. (as many already know)
However; when he does participate in this Sunday tradition, this is the view on our side.

Pretty darn cute.

(and aren't the pajamas even cuter?)

Crazy Bounce

Back before Christmas......(are you seeing a trend here, I am behind ;)
Anyway, in December Justin took Logan to the inflatable mecca named Crazy bounce while I finished up some things before we left for Wisconsin. I "heard" from Justin that he liked it initially, but then Justin pushed some of the bigger "slides" and he got scared.

Judging from the very first picture Justin took, I wouldn't think he had fun at ALL. Look at the face on this kid........(excuse the poor quality....Justin took it ;) ha!

You can click on it to enlarge to see his face better.

Well, things must have gotten better, because the pictures got better, and they ended up staying there for almost THREE hours.....awesome.

Snow Days

A recent storm brought a hefty amount of snow, and Logan was anxious to go out and play in it :) We bundled up, brought the dogs and had a great time in the fluffy white stuff........even Jack enjoyed himself ;)

Zeeland Christmas Festivities

Before Christmas we were able to head on over to downtown Zeeland, (which is actually closer than downtown Holland) and enjoy some holiday activities. We enjoyed walking in the pretty downtown area, looking at all th shops, and then Logan sat on Santa's lap, and read him his list ;) Later we went on a horse drawn trolley ride around town looking at lights, and even got a chance to pet the horses. It was a great evening!

Holy Holidays

Now that we are back in the swing of things, here is a little update from where we left off.

We enjoyed a stay in Wisconsin over Christmas, which meant that Santa came to Michigan early :) Wasn't that nice of him?!?

Logan is enjoying his new gifts, here are some pictures from the night before santa came and the morning Santa came.

( I can't say that Justin is enjoying the kitchen as much as Logan does ;)

First Christmas Program

He warned us. He said he was shy and didn't want to sing. I thought he would come around, after going to his teacher with no problems at drop off and smiling while walking onto the stage, I really thought he would do it. But, take a look and see what really happened......

I was so excited to get cute pictures of him singing and doing all the fun motions he had talked about with such zest, but nope, I got these photographs of him scowling and about to cry instead.

Oh well. Maybe next year.

What a Steal!

This year we opted to go the route of buying our Christmas tree from a store to save some cash.......well, we got more than we bargained for!
For $14.99 we walked out of Menards with a seven and a half foot beauty that stands tall and wide in our living room. It took four strands of lights, and nearly 40 feet of ribbon to decorate this thing,oh,and thank goodness for high ceilings!
